Products Description
Shoring props are temporary vertical supports. Heights are adjustable across five height ranges from 1.05m to 4.82m. The main parts are an O.D. 48mm inner tube, an O.D. 60mm threaded outer tube, a top plate, a bottom plate, a G pin, and a prop nut. They are mainly used to hold up concrete slabs and beams in construction, formwork, and scaffolding. They are designed for temporary support, not for permanant use. They will be removed when the concrete or structural is sound.
Working Load
The load capacity of the shoring props varies according to the working height. The following table shows the ultimate load capacity and safe working load for all five sizes of shoring props at closed and open heights.

G Pins

Prop Nut
Prop Nut helps Shoring Props Adjust to a required Height. Prop Nut has one big hole on one side and a handle on the other side. This shoring prop design protects the worker's safety. It also makes the shoring prop run easily in construction. You can choose cast iron prop nuts or cast steel and drop forged prop nuts.
Prop Sleeves
You can choose a prop sleeve threaded directly from the outer tube. There is also a type of welded prop sleeve. Prop sleeve sizes and specifications are customized, too. Common lengths of the sleeves would be in 195mm, 200mm, 205mm, 210mm, 220mm, and 300mm, 350mm overall length.
How to Secure Shoring Props
1. A tripod is needed to help the shoring props stand on the ground without moving.
2. In shoring and support, the shoring prop top plate can be nailed or secured by clips to the formwork beams(H20 timber or aluminum beam).
3. Prop lock pins(G Pin or Straight Pin) secure the shoring props at a required height in construction.
4. Turning the nut on the shoring props to reach a specific height after the lock pin is placed and fixed.
