Combination Plate Nut Models

Forged formwork combi nut

Made by forging process, this swivel-type combi nut features high strength and reusable for multiple cycles. Suitable for heavy-load and large-scale infrastructure concrete formwork projects, available with round and square base plates，works with formwork tie rods.

Casted Formwork Combi Nut

Manufactured by casting process with lower cost compared to forged combi nut. Ideal for low-load and short-term temporary wall & column formwork projects, multiple base-plate styles are optional for concrete tie-rod systems.

D15/17 Formwork Combi Nut

Matches D15/17 formwork tie rods. It is a widely-adopted thread size for concrete wall formwork, This anchor-style combi nut is available in both forged and cast versions with various base plates.

D20 Formwork Combi Nut

Compatible with large-size D20 formwork tie rods. This heavy-duty swivel wing nut withstands higher pressure for heavy-load concrete formwork conditions and works with all types of base plates for formwork systems.

Complete Formwork Tie Rod System Accessories

The formwork tie rod system consists of tie rods, wing nuts, tie nuts, anchor nuts, water stops, waler plates, steel cones, plastic tubes and plastic cones. Rubber plugs (Flupp Plugs) are also required for projects in some European regions. Wing nuts matched with tie rods are widely adopted as fastening assemblies in formwork construction.

Types of Formwork Tie Nuts

Tie nuts cover single wing nuts, butterfly wing nuts, double anchor wing nuts, triple anchor wing nuts and combination plate nut (formwork combi nuts). Their special wing structure allows manual tightening and loosening without extra tools. They are manufactured by casting or forging, with standard thread sizes of 17mm and 20mm.

Tie Rod Specifications

Tie rods are generally made of Q235 carbon steel or 45# steel, available in electro-galvanized or black raw finish. Their working load ranges from 40KN to 70KN. We also supply hot rolled tie bars with ultimate breaking load up to 180KN.

Waler Plate Sizes

Standard waler plate sizes include 120×120×10mm, 120×120×8mm, 120×110×10mm and 100×100×10mm. Custom sizes are available upon request.
