How to choose forged anchor nuts and cast anchor nuts?
Forged anchor nuts
Forged anchor nuts are made under high temperature,after hammering, processing to deform the metal into the anchor nut shape. With high tensile strength, good yield strength and toughness,no risk of cracking or deformation. It is widely adopted by famous brands, such as Tekko formwork, Doka formwork, Meva formwork, etc. Forging has higher mold and processing costs, suitable for mass production of high-standard nuts.
Cast anchor nuts
Cast anchor nuts are used widely in light load, static load, and low-stress occasions. Casting has a lower production cost and a simple process, fit for low-demand and ordinary low-strength fasteners.
How to Use
1. Align the Tie Rod: Insert the tie rod through the formwork panels.
2. Attach the Wing Nut: Place the formwork wing nut to the exposed end of the tie rod.
3. Tighten by Hand: Using the winged edges, tighten the nut securely to hold the formwork panels in place. No additional tools are needed.
4. Ensure Stability: Confirm that the panels are tightly secured, preventing any movement during the concrete pouring process.
