What is a Fixed U-head?

A Fixed U Head is a crucial scaffolding accessory made from heavy-duty steel, designed to be used with acrow props or system scaffolding (kwikstage or cuplock). The main function of U head is to hold timber beams or steel channels firmly in place. It is an essential component for slab centering, shuttering, and scaffolding structures.

Safe Working Load (SWL)
Safe working load for a fixed u-head is dependent on the tube/item it is mounted within, as the downward force pushes directly through the fixed u-head into the mount. The fixed u-head itself does not bear any weight. Ensure you are working safely by checking the SWL of the item you are using the fixed u-head in conjunction with (acrow prop, tube, system scaffold etc...)
