Aluma Beam is a type of Formwork Aluminium Beams. Aluminum Stringer is used in conjunction with the Beam Clamp to create a platform for heavy-duty scaffold and shoring applications. Alternatively, the U-Head Screwjack can be used to support the beams depending on the application. The Aluminum Stringer comes equipped with a Plastic Nailer designed to hold up for multiple projects. Fabricated with Special Aluminium Alloy Material, Wellfit Scafform ‘s Aluma Beams are Lightweight and of high strength.  It is Versatile with All Concrete Formwork Systems. The A-Beam contains a 2" x 2" plastic nailer strip, which is formulated to provide nail gripping properties comparable to wood, and will not become soft in hot weather, nor brittle, nor crack in extreme cold. Plastic nailers are much more durable than wood and will withstand repeated use, as plastic is apt to self-heal upon fastener removal. The A-Beam has a T-Head Bolt slot in its base for fastening stringers, strongbacks, or I-Beams with the easy-to-use self-locking A-Bolt. It is called aluminum beam clamps, aluma beam clips, formwork A clamps, etc. It is one of the formwork accessories, used popular in aluma formwork system . The Aluma A clips are assembled by one aluminum plate, one set of threaded bolts and nuts, and flat washers. Clamps come assembled with these self-locking bolts. Beam and Strongback contain T-head A-Bolt slots, which allow for the ease of self-locking bolts. In construction erection, the bolts fit in the slot of the aluminum beams, stringers, or strong backs. On the other end, the “hooked” plate grabs the lip on the flange of another beam, stringer, and strongback. Thus fixes and joints two beams, stringers, and strongbacks together to form support of the formwork slabs, and beams.

Aluma Beam Length is fabricated according to your construction formwork design and shoring scaffolding arrangement.  You need to tell us the length required. Normal Length of the Aluma beam would be  9′ to 21′ (2.75m to 6.4m). The longest length we produce is 11.8m.

Aluma Beam Application:

Slab&Beam Formwork: Deeper Aluma Beams are Used as Primary Members of the Slab Formwork. Smaller Aluma Beams are used as Secondary Members in Slab Formwork Support.

Wall Formwork: Aluma Beam is used as A Stud for both horizontal members and vertical members in Wall Forms.
